What a perfect birthday!

It started out awsomely with the concert last night (and a birthday card form my folks with $100 in it - woot! I bought a t-shirt and a hoodie at the concert.). Then I took today off so I got to sleep in (yay!).

Then I opened presents from Hubby and Leia. They got me Star Wars stuff (sweeet!).

Darcie and I went for pedicures this afternoon. Ahhh...bliss! Then we went to the mall and I found Billabong flip flops with skulls on them (double yay!).

Darcie and her hubby and me and my hubby went out for sushi to Michi (best sushi in Regina!).
Darcie gave me season one of Dead Like Me on dvd. I can't wait to watch it!!

The best part was after sushi wen we all went to the 10th anniversary of General Fools. They did an anniversary show tonight at the Globe Theatre. They were in the big round theatre and it was spectacular! They are so brilliantly funny. I absolutely adore them!

The we come home and there's a birthday card from my in-laws waiting for me with 40 bucks in it. Woo hoo!!

I also got a bottle of cherry whisky (my fave) from Cheryl and a bottle of coconut body lotion from Bath & Body Works from Veach. I have the best co-workers! I love them!!

What a great birthday. One couldn't ask for a better one.

Wow!

What an amazing show last night!

It would have been better if people weren't so damn pushy though. We tried to get to the front, but the crowd started pushing and pushing. Being caught in the middle, we went down a couple of times and then figured that we can't enjoy the show from the floor so we fought our way backwards until we found a sane spot where we could see the show and not be pushed around.

MCR came out as the Black Parade and did the entire Black Parade album in order. When they were done the last song on the album, they left the stage and the lights came up. Everyone's wondering WTF? So we all start chanting for them to come back out and they do. They're wearing regular clothes and introduce themselves as My Chemical Romance and proceed to do 5 or 6 songs from their previous album. Yay!! It was like two shows in one!

Gerard looked amazing (naturally!) and he had his black hair back (thank goddess!). I was never really a fan of the blonde look on him. I sooo wanted him to sweat on me, but I never got close enough (damn teenagers!). My sweat sister who went with me never really found him that appealing, but after seeing him live, she's changed her tune. He's hot...what can I say!

They wow me every time I see them and I will continue to go see them every chance I get.

I will never tire of MCR!!

Going to see My Chemical Romance in Saskatoon tonight!!

I'm so excited! I can hardly wait!

The plan is to get there early so we can be as close to the stage as possible...therefore, as close to Gerard as possible.

Hubby and I are thinking of going to Las Vegas during the first week of July.

It's cheap and hot!
