Our friends got married while we were in Victoria and we stood up for them. The weather was beautiful, which was good because we were outdoors for the ceremony. They had to get married twice though. When we arrived in Victoria on Sept.3, the place that sold marriage licences was closed. Our friends were assured that it would be open. It wasn't. So they spent most of the day looking for another place that sold marriage licences. No one did. They were kind of freaking out as any normal couple would be. They called the JP and she said to go ahead with the ceremony on Sunday and then we'll have another shorter, legal one on Tuesday when the licence issuer opened after the long weekend. The Sunday "wedding" was perfect! The weather was gorgeous and I took a ton of pictures for them ( I hope they turn out all right). They had it at Beacon Hill Park in Victoria. It was lovely! Then on Tuesday, we met the JP at Royal Roads in the Japanese Garden to do the legal ceremony. It was so beautiful there too, but I didn't take quite as many pictures as I did on Sunday. I can't wait to see them when they get back from the honeymoon!
I am sooo addicted to 3D pinball for Windows. It all started at my parents' house where they have it on their slow-ass computer. Hubby and I played it relentlessly while we were there. When we got home, I was all like, gee I wonder if we have it on our Windows program? We just happened to and now I can't stop playing it. I'm obsessed with beating my Mom's high score of 9,000,000-ish. I can only get as far as 4.4 million so far. I find that it helps when you play the game listening to good tunes. Thank-you Ipod mini!!
