For the past few weeks there has been a battle of sorts going on at the bank between the csr's and everyone else. We want rock music to be played over the p.a. system whereas everyone else wants country. Whenever the station is changed, someone inevitibly changes it to something else. We had it on Lite92 for a while which plays wuss-rock and that seemed to be alright, but then someone changed it to the country station on Tuesday. Mikey, our personal-banker-in-training, decided he had enough of the musical whining of the country station and he changed it to Rock94 which plays classic rock. We were all like YES! and everyone else was like WHAT THE HELL? Our assisiant manager decided we were acting like children so she shut off the radio and all we had was silence and the drone of the customers. What a drag.....
Food For Thought
In a fight, who would win.....astronauts or cavemen?
We had Chinese food for supper tonight and my fortune cookie said, "Now is the time to try something new." What's that supposed to mean? New food, new clothes, new man...?

I saw "Hildago" last night and I must say that it was very well done for a PG movie. The director, Joe Johnston, has had much experience with PG fare such as "October Sky", "The Pagemaster", "Jumanji" and "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids" among others. The horses were magnificent both the Arabians and the mustang that was Hildago. He was such a cute horse if there is such a thing. The desert landscapes were sweepingly epic and Omar Sharif looks like he hasn't aged a bit. Why anyone would put themselves through such a grueling race is beyond me. It's absolutely brutal. Not only do you battle the elements, but you have to watch out for the other competitors preventing you from getting water and Arab tribes attacking the camps. It was a rousing adventure based on a true story and I recommend it to anyone looking for an entertaining family film.
My tech-savvy friend Darcie came over yesterday and fixed my comments. Yay!! Now people can leave me comments on my posts.
Man, will I be disappointed if no one leaves a comment...

Sweet!! There is a new puppet time on the Homestar Runner website! I totally want a Homestar puppet. I must have one!! I also want a talking The Cheat doll. That would be soooo awesome!
I'm such a nerd....
I watched "Party Monster" last night. It's a film about club kid Michael Alig and the murder he committed in the early 90's. He was played by Macaulay Culkin (remember him). It was based on a book by Michael's friend James St. James entitled "Disco Bloodbath." Seth Green played James. They had to be the worst hetero-playing-homo actors I've ever seen. They were trying way too hard and it tended to be distracting. The supporting cast was excellent though, especially Marilyn Manson as a drag queen/transexual that Michael turns into his first "club star." Aside from the overacting leads, it was entertaining. The costumes were fantastic! It would have been a blast to see club kids in person. Hell, it would have been fun to be one.....although they used way too many drugs.
