Yesterday began the 3 day hell which is month end. It was filled with about half clients and half non-clients. Same old dull routine. Until...Darcie spies Brent Butt filling out a deposit slip. She told Crystal who in turn told me. I got rid of my deadbeat non-client as quickly as I could so I could wait on Brent Butt. I was totally impressed that he filled out his own deposit slip cuz nowadays, no one seems to fill them out beforehand. Anyway, he had 4 cheques to deposit but he didn't total them because he "didn't want to screw it up." I asked him if they had begun filming the new season of "Corner Gas" yet and he said that they're just in pre-production right now and that they'll start filming in mid-May. He said that he was in town to see Bob Newhart who was at the Centre of the Arts the night before. He said that he got to go backstage and meet Bob which was a dream come true for him, as he had always wanted to meet Bob Newhart. Anyway, he was really nice and he made my day!
