Last night the most ridculously innane reality show was on. It's called "Man Vs. Beast" and focuses on grown men challenging animals in competitions such as who can climb a tree faster, a man or a chimp? Or who can hang from a pole the longest, a man or an orangutan? Or who can run faster, a camel or 4 midgets in a relay? Needless to say we did not watch this trash, but somewhere Homer Simpson is on the edge of his seat.

I went to see 2 movies this past weekend and surprisingly both were good. Saturday we went to see "50 First Dates." Very cute movie...very unplausable ending. Sunday night we went to see "Monster." If Charlize Theron does not win Best Actress for this role, there is something very very wrong with the Academy voters. She was absolutely amazing! To see her transform herself like that is just incredible. I am looking forward to seeing her at the Academy Awards on Sunday the 29th cuz I'm sure she'll look stunning as always. She is one of my husband's favorites and he said that he can't look at her the same way anymore. I'm sure he'll just dig out her Playboy issue and all will be right with the world again.
