There was an article in the paper today about how the internet is raising a generation of narcissists and how blogging is giving us delusions of grandeur. Whatever...just because I'm a 20 year old supermodel with millions of dollars doesn't make me a narcissist.
Now where did I put that jewel encrusted mirror...?

So I've added a few new liks to my sidebar. Check them out...no seriously...check them out.
Pooch Cafe is a funny comic about a dog named Poncho.
Impulse replaces Wednesday's Child (same person, different blog).
Defective Yeti is a blog from a funny guy in Seattle.
Star Wars speaks for itself.
Enjoy!
Yeah, so I was bidding on a pair of Sketcher 4 Wheeler roller skates from ebay and I was outbid. I figured that the other person probably was American so there was no exchange for them to worry about and I decided that my highest bid would be $40usd. They frikin' sold for $41usd. I am not amused.
Do you know how hard it is to find size 10 roller skates?!?
Woe is me...
So here are my thoughts on the last 2 movies we went to see at the theatre. This past Saturday, we went to see "Constantine." It was alright I guess. Nothing really special. John Constantine has some pretty good lines. I suppose I'd have a morbid sense of humor too if I knew it was just a matter of time before I went to Hell because Heaven doesn't want me. Although there is a point where he's floating up to Heaven leaving the devil behind, and as he's floating up he flips the devil off. That was pretty sweet. I would like to read the comic it's based on though. It's called "Hellblazer" and it's a graphic novel from D.C. Comics (it also comes in individual comic issues). Lately my husband and I have been spending mondo cash on comic books. What a couple of nerds...
Anyway, movie number 2 was "The Phantom of the Opera." I was impressed with the sets and costumes and the fact that it pretty much was the exact play (a few minor changes, but nothing unforgiveable). Emmy Rossum has an amazing voice, and she was an excellent Christine Daae. My only real complaint is who they picked for the Phantom. As much as I love Gerard Butler (and I really do!), he was not the strongest singer. His voice seemed weak compared to the others in the film, and that's not what the Phantom should be. His voice should be strong and chill inducing, but what can you do? Also, Gerard does not do the best American accent, and considering that the Phantom is supposed to be French, it's kind of a puzzlement why they would make him speak American. He would have had a better go of it with his Scottish brogue. Anyway, long story short (too late), it wasn't quite the same experience as the play, but still a good adaptation.
