Last night was spent at my brother's house for my niece's 7th birthday. My other brother who lives in Alberta is down for the long weekend so we spent most of the night playing PS2.
Actually, they played while I watched and laughed at them.
They were playing "SingStar" the pop version. Basically, you have 2 microphones and 2 people sing and you get points based on how good you are. It's basically a karaoke Dance Dance Revolution.
So this pop version has stuff like Avril Lavigne, Cybdi Lauper, Jesse McCartney, Destiny's Child, Britney Spears and other pop-y type stuff. Then I noticed on the list of songs was Helena by My Chemical Romance and I Write Sins Not Tragedies by Panic! At The Disco. I wouldn't excatly call those pop songs.
But maybe I'm just biased.
The other game they played was Guitar Hero I and II.
What a frickin' cool game!! I totally want a PS2 just so I can get that game! I frickin' dreamed about it all night last night. It rocks!! (literally)!
