So yesterday, Hubby and I went to an anniversary party for my aunt and uncle. It's their 40th so they had a big party for the family. When we got there, in a space of about 5 minutes, I'm told by like 3 of my relatives what a pretty girl I am. Psssshhhhhttttt!! If they could see me today, they'd change their tune! As we're sitting at the party, my face was kinda itchy but I dismissed it because I'd been wearing makeup for 12 hours and my face isn't used to that, so whatever, right? WRONG!! When we got home and I washed my face, Hubby heard a bloodcurdling shriek come from the bathroom. I had this huge disgusting rash-like dealie on my face. He saw it and cringed. Nice. Just the reassurance that I didn't look like a hideous freak that I needed. I went to the medi clinic today and it turns out I have a staph-like infection on my face. Like when I had pink-eye last October except on my chin and under my nose. Great. Like this month wasn't crappy enough already...this is the topper of all toppers. I was going to take a picture of it and post it here, but then I thought, who wants see that? You really don't want to see the oozing pustules on my "pretty" face. It's quite disgusting. I feel like the elephant man or something. I have to throw out my makeup because it's now contaminated and it'll probably be a good week or so before I can wear any at all (shudder). If my face is still oozing on Tuesday, I was advised not to go to work. No one wants to see me without makeup anyway (nasty!). I'm doomed.

What did I do to deserve this?
