This past weekend, Hubby and I were in Saskatoonfor his brother's wedding. Hubby was in the wedding party so I was left to my own devices. Thankfully, his brother invited our best friends to the wedding so I hung around with them all day. It was a nice ceremony for the most part. The minister rambled on and on about absolutely nothing and wouldn't let anyone take pictures-not even the photographer. After the ceremony, they had pictures done on the lawn of the church. Hubby's mom wanted a family picture so I had to be in it. The mosquitos were out in full force and even though I have no blood, they seem to love me. I got eaten alive and have the welts to prove it. The reception was in the town of Warman which is about 20 minutes outside of Saskatoon. The reception was typical...same old cheezy songs that are played at absolutely EVERY wedding since the dawn of man. I'm really starting to get annoyed with wedding receptions and we have two more to go to this summer!
On Sunday, our friends had a barbeque and the weather was gorgeous so I sat in the sun all day and got a stupid burn because I was wearing a t-shirt. If I tried to go somewhere wearing a tank top, I'd look ridiculous. Hopefully it's nice this weekend so I can try to even it out.
Monday, my friend and I went shopping and I found a pair of "skinny" jeans!!! I love them soooo much and I have the perfect pair of flats to wear with them! I can't wait to wear them!!
