Speaking of music, I went out with a friend of mine last night to a nightclub here in town where the songs that they played were all edited. I found that rather weird. Were they afraid of offending someone with the profanity that is in most hip-hop? Last time that I checked, anyone in a nightclub was 19 or older. I mean, we're all adults here...what's the problem? The other clubs that I've been to have all played the explicit versions and from what I could tell, everyone was cool with that. There was one song where the word "ho" was cut out. That's a bit extreme, don't you think?
Anyway, aside from the PG music, I had a good time. At around 11:30, most of the Riders showed up (they had a home game earlier in the evening which they lost - boo!) and there are some might fine looking young men on that team. I say young because I think I'm older than the oldest player on the team. My friend and I didn't mind the attention at all! It was a definite self-esteem booster. After being married for 11 years, one tends to forget that they can actually be attractive to the opposite sex. I can honsetly say that it's been a long loooooong time since I have been told that I was beautiful (friends don't count - sorry Taylorg - but I love it anyway!) no matter how gussied up I get. When the one you love hardly ever tells you, you tend to forget. Alright, enough with the self-pity! We had a good time and, Ash, you really missed out!!
