It's so good to have my computer back. It died a couple of weeks ago and I didn't think I'd miss it as much as I did. Let's see...what has happened in the past couple of weeks that I would have blogged about? I went to a friggin Christmas party already. It was on Nov. 5. My boss put up the Christmas tree at work last Thursday. I don't mind if there are Christams things in November, but I really think it's disrespectful to do it before Remembrance Day. The last movie I went to see was "Friday Night Lights." It was pretty good for a football movie. I especially enjoyed it because Lucas Black was in it. He was just a kid when he was on the t.v. show "American Gothic". It was on about 10 years ago I guess. It was a great show...very weird and supernatural. It was so cool to see him all growed up! I instantly recognized his manner of speech. He has a very thick southern accent and I've always loved the way he talked. Let's see...what else...oh! The Riders beat Edmonton in Edmonton to make it the CFL Western Final next week in B.C.!!! If they beat B.C. next Sunday, they're in the Grey Cup. I think Saskatchewan would go nuts. I never really enjoyed football much, but this year I've really gotten into the spirit and am enjoying the savage ballet that is Canadian football.
