We went to see "King Arthur" last night.  It was an interesting version of the legend.  It was based more on historical "fact" than on the medieval legend.  It took place not in the middle ages but the dark ages when there were no knights in shining armour, chivalry or magicians.  It was ok.  The battle scenes were magnificent!  Personally, I prefer the medieval version of the tale.  I missed the whole love triangle thing between Arthur, Guinevere, and Lancelot.  I missed Camelot and magical Merlin.  But, it was still an intriguing idea.
